Visual storytelling for a digital brand

Following PostNL’s rebrand by Studio Dumbar, we worked with VividBlue and Studio Dumbar to develop a new explainer format for the Dutch postal service. The goal was to bring its services to life in a way that felt clear, contemporary and true to the updated brand.

Digital meets physical

PostNL’s services connect digital interfaces with everyday experiences. We brought these worlds together by integrating UI elements into physical environments, creating a playful visual language that feels natural, accessible and distinctly PostNL.

Recognisable visual langue

Working within the established brand identity, we developed a flexible animation style that balances clarity with character. Every visual element serves the story, creating a fresh and recognisable explainer format that makes PostNL’s services easier to understand and more engaging to watch.
